Ken Bevis, Habitat Biologist with the Washington Department of Natural Resources, presents “Dead Wood in the Ecosystem.” Learn about the many important roles that dead trees, including those burned by wildfire, play in the landscape. Ken brings a lively presentation as well as his guitar – There will be songs!
The event will also feature an opening song from local indigenous drumming group the Omak Citizens.
