Upcoming Event: OkaKnowledgy Virtual Fencing with Jay Kehne

Join us on Wednesday, February 15th, at 5:30 pm (PST) for an Free, IN-PERSON OkaKnowledgy event!

Jay Kehne will tell us all about his initiative to introduce virtual fencing in North Central Washington. Virtual fencing has the potential to replace untold miles of wire fencing that divides the landscape and presents a hazard to wildlife.

Jay is Sagelands Program Lead for Conservation Northwest and heads CNW’s Safe Passage 97 initiative as well as its shrub-steppe wildlife work.

The free event will also feature an opening song from local indigenous drumming group the Omak Citizens. Coffee and cookies will be served.
