May 21st, OLT invites you to Swimming Upstream, a celebration of friends, family and fish!
Join Okanogan Land Trust and many of our conservation partners for a day of education, food and family fun in celebration of World Fish Migration Day.
May 21st at Boat Launch Park in Okanogan.
Learn why Salmon Creek and other tributaries of the Okanogan River are critical to the survival of
Salmon and Steelhead from Ryan Klett and Chris Fisher, fish biologists of the CCT Fisheries Department. There will also be a volunteer trash pick-up, music by the Omak Citizens drumming group and others, opportunities to meet and chat with local conservation groups including the Methow Beaver Project, Okanogan Highlands Alliance, Okanogan Conservation District, and The Nature Conservancy. A picnic lunch is provided by OLT.
Plus, bid on tasty treats in a dessert auction!
